The 2017 Honda Civic is a high-performance automobile that we absolutely love here at Keyes Cars. And next year, the Honda Civic lineup is slated to get some new additions in the form of the Honda Civic Si Sedan and Honda Civic Si Coupe. Last month, Honda unveiled the Honda Civic Si Prototype, giving us some insight into what we can look forward to next year.
Powering these new models will be a high-performance, high-torque, 1.5-liter, direct-injected and turbocharged DOHC in-line 4-cylinder engine with dual variable cam timing (dual VTC) mated to a short-shifting 6-speed manual transmission. A new active damper system, active steering system, limited-slip differential and available high-performance tires will further enhance performance. Here’s Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of Honda:
“With the new Honda Civic Si, we're injecting even more sporty goodness into our 10th-generation Civic lineup. This will be, hands down, the fastest, best-handling Si we've ever offered to our customers."
We can’t wait to get behind the wheel of these upcoming models. If you’re similarly impatient to step into a new Honda vehicle, then head in to our dealership near Los Angeles, CA to test drive one of the Honda Civic models currently on our lot. With a bold, aggressive face and sharp, sophisticated bodylines, you’ll be struck by the Honda Civic before you ever get behind the wheel. Boasting up to 174 horsepower, a fully independent suspension, and two transmissions to choose from, performance is the name of the game in the Honda Civic.
